RIPON, Wis. (WLCSports.com) - Ripon's Paige Pierce scored three goals to lead the host Red Hawks to a 7-0 win over the Wisconsin Lutheran College women's soccer team on Tuesday afternoon at Prairie Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Ripon scored three goals in the first half and added four in the second to defeat WLC. The Red Hawks out-shot the Warriors 28-5 during the match.
  • The Warriors played shorthanded in the second half after a red card was issued in the closing minutes of the first half.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE

  • Mady Hirsch (Jefferson, Wis./Luther Preparatory) attempted a team-best three shots for the Warriors, two of which were on goal. Helen Joyce (De Pere, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran) and Abby Himm (Grand Blanc, Mich./Homeschooled) each recorded one shot for WLC.
  • WLC goalkeeper Hailey Krause (Wauwatosa, Wis./Pius XI) made 12 saves for the Warriors in the match.
  • Paige Birschbach led the Red Hawks with seven shots, scoring twice and assisting on three goals. Paige Pierce also netted three goals on six shots.
